Organic Ingredients To Make Gujiya
4 cup organic maida
1 1/2 cup natural ghee (NPOP)
1 1/2 cup water
250 gm khoya
1 cup organic white and sulphurless sugar
1-2 tablespoon powdered green cardamom
2 teaspoon finely chopped organic almonds
2 teaspoon finely chopped organic cashew
2 teaspoon finely chopped organic raisins
1/4 cup organic wheat suji/rawa
Method To Prepare Organic Gujiya
Step 1: Dough Making Process
To make a dough, mix water, and organic maida together. Prepare a soft dough out of the material. To make it tastier, add little natural ghee (NPOP) to the dough while kneading. This addition of natural ghee will add more taste to your gujiya.
Step 2: Filling Making Process
After you are done with the soft dough. Take a pan and saute khoya and organic suji turn by turn. Saute until it turns golden in colour and let it cool.
Step 3: Gujiya Making Process
Let’s prepare the filling for gujiya. When khoya and suji mixture is properly cooled down, add cardamom powder, organic dry fruits and mix the mixture properly. Now, take a few drops of ghee on your palms and rub it on your palm so that the dough does not stick to your hands.
Step 4: Shapes of Gujiya
Preparing puri and fill it with the mixture. Take a small ball of dough and make a round of it. After you fill the puri, seal it from the corner with the help of water. You can seal the gujiya in any of your favorite shapes.
Step 5: Fry the Gujiya
Now, you have to fry the gujiya. Heat the natural ghee or oil in a pan. Fry the gujiya until it is golden in color. You can garnish it with saffron and crushed pistachios.
